O especialista Alberto
\nRocha<\/b> explica que a Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Nacional para o Estudo e a Interven\u00e7\u00e3o na
\nSobredota\u00e7\u00e3o (ANEIS) foi criada em Dezembro de 1998 por iniciativa de
\nprofessores, psic\u00f3logos e estudantes. Progressivamente, desenvolve e presta
\napoios a crian\u00e7as e jovens com caracter\u00edsticas de sobredota\u00e7\u00e3o e a suas
\nfam\u00edlias, nas m\u00faltiplas \u00e1reas de capacidade e atividade humana \u2013 intelectual,
\nmotor, acad\u00e9mico, social, art\u00edstico, mec\u00e2nico e emocional \u2013 tendo em vista o
\ndesenvolvimento integral, a melhoria da qualidade de vida e a inclus\u00e3o social e
\nescolar.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\nprogramas de enriquecimento e atividades l\u00fadicas\/lazer;<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\npsico-educacional de crian\u00e7as e jovens;<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

4. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Consultadoria junto

5. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de

\nvalida\u00e7\u00e3o de instrumentos para a identifica\u00e7\u00e3o e atendimento de crian\u00e7as e

Specialist Alberto Rocha explains that the National
\nAssociation for the Study and Intervention in Giftedness (ANEIS) was created in
\nDecember 1998 at the initiative of teachers, psychologists and students.
\nProgressively, it develops and supports children and young people with gifted
\ncharacteristics and their families, in the multiple areas of human capacity and
\nactivity – intellectual, motor, academic, social, artistic, mechanical and
\nemotional – with a view to integral development, improving the quality of life
\nand social and school inclusion.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Alberto Rocha points out that the scope and needs
\nfelt by the existing 9 delegations, foresees the adhesion of new delegations in
\nthe national territory, as well as, the increasing identification of cases of
\ngiftedness in schools, by psychology professionals and \/ or even by the
\nparents.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Alberto Rocha Stresses that ANEIS develops and
\nsupports children and young people with gifted characteristics and their
\nfamilies, in the multiple areas of human capacity and activity – intellectual,

\nintegral development, improving the quality of life and social and school
\ninclusion.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

These services are made available to the population

A. Leisure activities center;<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

B. Family support and parental counseling center;<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

C. Early intervention;<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

D. Psychosocial care \/ monitoring center;<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

E. Vacation and leisure center.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, it aims at the study and
\nintervention in the field of giftedness, carrying out for this purpose several
\nactivities namely:<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

1. Sensitization of public opinion and
\nthe population in general;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

2. Implementation of enrichment
\nprograms and recreational \/ leisure activities;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

3. Psycho-educational consultation of
\nchildren and young people;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

4. Consultancy with institutions and
\nindividuals;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

5. Conducting studies and issuing
\nopinions in the area;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

6. Design and validation of instruments
\nfor the identification and care of children and young people with gifted and
\ntalented characteristics;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

7. Training and counseling of education
\ntechnicians and families;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

8. Edition of bibliographic material or
\nwork tools;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

9. Creation of structures and equipment
\nsuitable for intervention in different support areas.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The association is legally established,
\nhaving a history of intervention since 1998. Its scope and needs felt by the
\nvarious delegations, with the provision of new delegations joining the national
\nterritory, as well as the growing identification of cases of giftedness in
\nschools, by professionals psychology and \/ or even by parents.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
